Thermal insulation technician — Lyon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Lyon County, Minnesota. You will work at a cold storage facility. On a typical shift you will install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness. Requirements: • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Willing to travel between sites Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off.
