Furniture maker — Dekina

Vacancy available: we are hiring a furniture maker in Dekina, Kogi State. The job is in a cabinet-making workshop. The role involves: • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles Requirements: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
