Immediate opening: gardener (Yobe State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a gardener in Karasuwa, Yobe State. You will work in a public park. You will mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs. Ideal candidate: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Meals and transport allowance provided.
