We are recruiting: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Indian River County, Florida. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging On a typical shift you will keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; read and interpret the load chart before every lift.
