Structural MIG welder — Barnwell County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Barnwell County, South Carolina. Day to day you will grind back and re-weld any defective runs; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
