Vacancy available: we are hiring a press operator in Sokoto North, Sokoto State. The job is on the press shop floor. Day-to-day duties: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Rotating shifts.
