Immediate opening: we are hiring a butcher in Natrona County, Wyoming. The job is at a wholesale meat market. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry The role involves: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Season and marinate meat on request • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date Performance bonus on top of base pay.
