Foundry worker — Ukwa West

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry worker in Ukwa West, Abia State. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards ₦550 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
