Urgent requirement: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Baker County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Day-to-day duties: • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
