We are recruiting: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Prentiss County, Mississippi. The job is in a busy laundry. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Day to day you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; give each garment a final press before packing; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
