Cement mason — Ikwo

Join our team: we are hiring a cement mason in Ikwo, Ebonyi State. You will work on a high-rise slab pour. The role involves strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
