Assembly operator — Caledonia County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an assembly operator in Caledonia County, Vermont. The job is in a packaging and assembly workshop. Requirements: • Careful handling of tools and components • Basic understanding of quality checks and 5S • Good hand-eye coordination and steady fingers for small parts Day to day you will report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away; pick the correct parts from the kit bins and feed them to the line; fit and bolt components onto the chassis as it moves along the conveyor; tighten fasteners to the specified torque using a power screwdriver or torque wrench; snap-fit plastic housings and clip in the wiring harnesses; log defects and place rejected units in the rework bay. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
