Plant operator — Washtenaw County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Washtenaw County, Michigan. You will be based on a busy civils and groundworks site. Day to day you will backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter. Requirements: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones 3+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided.
