Gantry crane operator — Shelby County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Shelby County, Iowa. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Current medical and eyesight certificate On a typical shift you will keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
