Machine setter-operator wanted in Kane County

Now hiring: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Kane County, Illinois. You will work in a textile mill. Day-to-day duties: • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine What we are looking for: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Good attention to detail and steady hands Six days a week, one day off.
