Hydraulic crane operator — Rockcastle County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Rockcastle County, Kentucky. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. Day to day you will climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. Ideal candidate: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Strong attention to safety and load limits Rotating shifts. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
