Shuttering fixer — Ben Hill County

Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Ben Hill County, Georgia. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. On the job you will handle: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting You should have: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Six days a week, one day off.
