Immediate opening: we are hiring a commis chef in Nicholas County, West Virginia. The job is at a fast-food outlet. What we are looking for: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays The role involves keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes.
