Immediate opening: we are hiring an excavator operator in Rabun County, Georgia. Day-to-day duties: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Check for underground cables and services before digging What we are looking for: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence Six days a week, one day off.
