On the job you will handle: • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns You should have: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Full-time with occasional weekends.
