Horizontal milling machine operator — Becker County

Now hiring: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Becker County, Minnesota. You will work in a die and mould making unit. On the job you will handle: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter You should have: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron 2+ years on the tools preferred.
