Punch press operator — Yagba West

Vacancy available: we are hiring a punch press operator in Yagba West, Kogi State. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout On the job you will handle: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
