Shakeout operator — West Northamptonshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a shakeout operator in West Northamptonshire, England. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Day to day you will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. £2,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
