Hand presser — Jefferson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hand presser in Jefferson County, Kansas. You will be based in a busy laundry. Your main tasks: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Give each garment a final press before packing • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
