Press machine operator — Carroll County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press machine operator in Carroll County, Virginia. Day to day you will run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; set up and start the machine as per the job card. Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
