Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage On a typical shift you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish.
