Port container crane operator — Des Moines County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Des Moines County, Iowa. The role involves: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports Ideal candidate: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Full-time, day shift.
