Blocklayer • Madison County, Montana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Madison County, Montana. You will work on a commercial construction site. Day to day you will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
