GMAW welder — Sheridan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Sheridan County, Nebraska. Day to day you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
