Concrete pump mate — Trinity County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Trinity County, Texas. You will work at an infrastructure site. On the job you will handle: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Performance bonus on top of base pay.
