Machine assembly operator — County Durham

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine assembly operator in County Durham, England. You will be based in an electronics assembly unit. Your main tasks: • Report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away • Clean down the workstation and keep it to 5S standard • Snap-fit plastic housings and clip in the wiring harnesses • Tighten fasteners to the specified torque using a power screwdriver or torque wrench • Fit and bolt components onto the chassis as it moves along the conveyor Ideal candidate: • Good hand-eye coordination and steady fingers for small parts • Able to stand for the full shift and do repetitive hand work • Previous experience on a production or assembly line preferred We offer £2,750 per month plus benefits.
