CNC mill setter-operator — Salt Lake County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Salt Lake County, Utah. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Day to day you will set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
