Concrete worker — Taney County

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete worker in Taney County, Missouri. The role involves fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified. You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Six days a week, one day off.
