Surface coating operator — Yates County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Yates County, New York. You will be based at a powder coating unit. You will stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
