Quality control inspector — Ulster County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a quality control inspector in Ulster County, New York. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Requirements: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor The role involves: • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
