Semi-automatic welder wanted in Berkeley County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Berkeley County, West Virginia. You will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
