In-process quality controller — Claiborne County

Join our team: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Claiborne County, Tennessee. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection Your main tasks: • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
