Now hiring: control panel electrician (Pennsylvania)

Now hiring: we are hiring a control panel electrician in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a factory maintenance department. On a typical shift you will test insulation resistance with a megger; fault-find on motor starters and star-delta panels; crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands; isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working; size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop; measure voltage, current and load with a multimeter and clamp meter. You should have: • Able to read single-line and wiring diagrams • Normal colour vision for cable identification • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds 3+ years on the tools preferred. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
