Panel painter — Trinity County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel painter in Trinity County, California. You will be based in an automotive paint and panel workshop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Able to read and match factory paint codes Day-to-day duties: • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust 5+ years on the tools preferred. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
