Groundworker wanted in Sioux County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundworker in Sioux County, Nebraska. You will be based on a road and bridge project. What we are looking for: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Day-to-day duties: • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel Full-time, day shift.
