Precision welder — Catawba County

Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Catawba County, North Carolina. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Day-to-day duties: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp Full-time with occasional weekends.
