Foundry operative wanted in Benton County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry operative in Benton County, Arkansas. Day-to-day duties: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling $260 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
