The role involves: • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters Ideal candidate: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Part-time with flexible hours.
