Immediate opening: we are hiring a dough maker in Santa Barbara County, California. You should have: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Day-to-day duties: • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits.
