Marble cutter — Halifax County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble cutter in Halifax County, Virginia. The job is on a residential building site. On the job you will handle: • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys • Fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar You should have: • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $140 per day, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
