We are recruiting: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Surrey, England. You will be based in a toolroom. Your main tasks: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence Ideal candidate: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
