Cake decorator — Crane County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cake decorator in Crane County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Full-time with occasional weekends.
