Commis chef • Geary County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a commis chef in Geary County, Kansas. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. Your main tasks: • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Rotating shifts.
