Day-to-day duties: • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Carry out leak inspections and patch repairs • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs What we are looking for: • A good head for heights and steady balance • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience.
