Falsework carpenter • Benton County, Mississippi

Great opportunity: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Benton County, Mississippi. You will be based on a bridge and flyover project. Ideal candidate: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Day to day you will fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured.
